    This workshop is for experienced beginner as well as intermediate and advanced students! If you are really wanting to learn the software this is the workshop for you! It will solidify your digitizing skills and prepare you to digitize your own delicious creations!

    Digitizing Exceptional Machine Embroidery

    This 1 day workshop takes you beyond the embroidery basics!

    (Experienced beginner and intermediate students)

    In this workshop you will:

    • Create designs with Bernina Designer Plus V7 software to add depth and detail using Lacework, Blackwork, Candlewicking and Fancy Fills
    • Use Pattern Run, Stemstitch and Backstitch outlines as accents that give ordinary embroidery a jolt of something extraordinary and exciting!
    • Advance your skills and improve your digitizing with Underlay, Traveling on Edges
    • Wave Effects to produce the highest quality of embroidery and unique textures which add pop to your designs.

    Digitizing Large Redwork Style Designs For Multi-Hooping 2-Day Workshop

    (Experienced beginner as well as and intermediate and advanced students)

    In this 2-Day workshop you will:

    • Develop and create your own personal template
    • Load and convert artwork in the powerful Corel Draw Essentials 6X
    • Manually digitize from line drawings
    • Meld individual objects into one with no jump threads
    • Understand and appreciate the Break Apart & Reshape Tool
    • Create texture and depth with various fills perfect for Redwork designs
    • Load & experiment with new fonts
    • Master short cut keys that make digitizing easier and faster
    • Tips, tricks, shortcuts, and techniques for quality digitizing
    • Learn Claudia’s “Perfect Placement” technique for Multi-hooping
    • Shortcut keys for digitizing
    • New tips with V8
    • Instruction for dividing designs for multi-hooping
    • Learn to install new fonts

    You will be amazed how easy it is to digitize and split a large Redwork design for Multi-Hooping!

    Manually Digitizing Embroidery Machine Applique

    This 1 or 2 day workshop teaches how to convert line drawings to Embroidery Machine Applique!

    (Experienced beginner and intermediate students)

    Using the Manual Digitizing Tools in Bernina Designer Plus V7 software, you will learn to:

    • Transform line drawings, hand appliqué patterns, or any outlined artwork to machine embroidered appliqué
    • Use Art Canvas to load, convert, and save pictures.
    • Generate spectacular fills, outlines, and textures over, around, and on appliqué pieces creating depth and excitement to the eye!
    • Understand the relationship of underlay and fabric setting to reduce puckering in your embroidery
    • Combine embroidery with the appliqué for spectacular results and one of kind unique designs!
    • Understand and manage the Reshape Tool for perfecting designs
    • Discover how to correctly mark your fabric and place each hooping exactly where you want it on your first try!

    2-Day Workshop includes techniques for dividing the design for Multi-Hooping with perfect placement.

    In this 2-Day Workshop students will master Claudia’s multi-hooping technique for perfect placement!  Improve your hooping skills; better understand the features on your machine that allow you to manipulate designs for better alignment.  get tips & techniques that make your embroidery flat, fun & flawless!

    Minimum hoop requirement 8″x12″ Hoops or larger: all formats.

    Pre-class preparation needed.

    A Child Is Born

    Celebrate the first Christmas with Mary, Joseph and the Christ child in a lowly stable in Bethlehem.  Shepherds, wisemen and glorious angels on high marvel at the signs and sights of His birth.

    Designs in this pattern are all machine embroidered.  The minimum stitch field restriction is 7.5″ wide x 11.5″ long or larger

    Nature Calls

    Explore the adventure of outdoor camping with Nature Calls!

    Enjoy the vast expanse of green tinted forests, the symphony of water falling down a mountain stream, and the abundance of wild life as all co-exist on majestic mountains.  When it comes to nature, sometimes you just gotta go!

    In this 2-Day Workshop students will use Claudia’s multi-hooping technique for 100% Perfect Placement!
